DESTINY SANCHEZ 

My name is Destiny Sanchez and I am from Stony Brook, New York. I am an upcoming graduate at Penn State University majoring in Broadcast Journalism through the Donald P. Bellisario College of Communications, minoring in Entrepreneurship and Innovation, and Sports Studies. I will also be receiving the John Curley Center for Sports Journalism Certificate. I am also a Bunton-Waller Fellow and a Bellisario Fellow

 

I am passionate about sharing compelling and accurate stories with the public. I have a passion for sharing the stories of sport, on and off the field. Sports have so much more than X's and O's; there is adversity, family, a bigger reason to play. I hope to become a trusted and respected broadcaster and journalist in the sports world to allow these players and coaches to share their story.
